Vice Chairman Selman Dündar talks about Maktel’s journey and production spanning home appliances to automotive.
Seeing the need for springs in Türkiye, Maktel’s founders built their first spring machine themselves and began manufacturing in 1971. According to Vice Chairman Selman Dündar, around half of the springs produced go to the home appliance industry, with Vestel and Arçelik among the largest customers.
Maktel exports to many countries including Germany, Italy, Portugal and France, and holds the quality certifications required by the automotive industry.
